A verse from the Bhagavad Gita

A verse from the Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 46, discusses the greatness of a yogi. Here’s the complete verse in Sanskrit, followed by transliteration and meaning:

तपस्विभ्योऽधिको योगी ज्ञानिभ्योऽपि मतोऽधिकः।
कर्मिभ्यश्चाधिको योगी तस्माद्योगी भवार्जुन॥

– Bhagavad Gita 6.46

Transliteration:
tapasvibhyo’dhiko yogī jñānibhyo’pi mato’dhikaḥ
karmibhyash chādhiko yogī tasmād yogī bhavārjuna

Profound Meaning:
The yogi, who seeks union with the Divine, is better than the ascetic, the scholar, and the ritualist. Why? The yogi embodies discipline, wisdom, and action and rises above them through inner union. Krishna’s message is clear:

Be a yogi, Arjuna—live a life centered in conscious connection, beyond ego and effort.

🪔 Let this remind us:
Discipline without connection is dry.
Knowledge without surrender is pride.
Action without love is hollow.

The yogi brings heart, mind, and soul into perfect harmony.
